on Drama and Theatre
A good place to get an overview of a subject is Wikipedia. Look up "History of Theatre". Read revelvant articles to get a basic understanding of your topic and then check the bibliography for leads on good sources of information. Wikipedia atricles vary in quality and one of the tests of the credibility of an article is the quality of its bibliography (along with the credentials of the author). See what Jimmy Wales, one of the co-founders of Wikipedia, had to say about how to use Wikipedia in Time Magazine on March 21, 2007.
